 SAPTMHBGSSBGSSBG--Local Discretionary Funds
Description:Prevention and Treatment of Substance Abuse through educating, counseling, testing and reference to medical assistance. (See 45CFR96--Subpart L)Provides a comprehensive array of Mental Health services at the local level.Flexible federal Assistance for social services such as prevention of abuse, neglect, rehabilitating families, achieving self-sufficiency, providing services, etc. (See 42USC1397)Local governments are distributed funds from SSBG to use at their discretion within the SSBG guidelines.
